Product Overview
The HXGN17-12 box-type fixed AC metal-enclosed ring main unit (hereinafter referred to as "Ring Main Unit" or "RMU") is a new-generation high-voltage switchgear product designed and developed by adopting overseas advanced technologies combined with the power requirements of China. It is a factory-assembled, type-tested indoor power distribution equipment suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz power systems with rated voltage of 3.6~12kV.
This RMU is primarily used for receiving and distributing electrical energy, as well as controlling, protecting and monitoring circuits in three-phase AC ring networks, terminal distribution networks, and industrial power distribution equipment. It is also suitable for installation in box-type substations. The switchgear has been successfully applied in projects such as Shenzhen Gemdale Group, demonstrating its reliable performance in demanding commercial real estate environments.
The cabinet adopts a fully assembled modular structure using KS (8MF) section steel, featuring lightweight and aesthetic design, allowing flexible combination and unlimited expansion. The main switch can be equipped with FZN25-12 type vacuum load break switch or vacuum circuit breakers such as VD4-S upon request. The operating mechanism can be manual or electric, with remote control functionality available. The switchgear complies with GB3906 and IEC 62271-200 standards and has passed relevant type tests.

The main switch can be equipped with FZN25-12 vacuum load break switch (small size, maintenance-free, three-phase linkage structure with clear isolation gap), or vacuum circuit breakers such as VD4-S type as required, offering flexible configuration options to meet diverse application requirements.

Fully Assembled Modular Structure
The cabinet is assembled using KS (8MF) profile steel, featuring fully assembled modular construction, lightweight and aesthetic design. It allows flexible combination and unlimited expansion extension, making installation and configuration highly adaptable.

Complete "Five-Prevention" Mechanical Interlocking
Equipped with reliable mechanical interlocking device achieving full "five-prevention" functions: preventing moving of trolleys under load, preventing incorrect opening/closing of circuit breakers, preventing closing of earthing switch when live, preventing power transmission when earthing switch is in the closed position, and preventing accidental entry into live compartments. The load break switch adopts linkage protective insulation shutter, covering live contacts to ensure personnel safety.

Compact & Lightweight Design
The RMU features small component dimensions and low cabinet height (2000mm, with 1700mm Italian VEI design optional), saving valuable floor space in distribution rooms. The cabinet adopts front operation and maintenance, with wall-mounted installation available.

Dual Operation Modes & Remote Control
Both manual and electric operation modes are available with remote control functionality upon request. The clear and intuitive design ensures simple and direct operation, suitable for various application scenarios including automated distribution networks.

Observation Window for Easy Monitoring
The cabinet door is equipped with an observation window for easy monitoring of internal component working status without opening the cabinet, improving maintenance convenience and operational safety.

High Environmental Adaptability
Working temperature range: -25°C to +40°C; altitude up to 1000m (2000m optional); relative humidity: daily average ≤95%, monthly average ≤90%. Suitable for installation sites free from fire, explosive danger, chemical corrosion, or severe vibration.
