Product Overview
The KYN28A-24 armored removable AC metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as "switchgear") is a factory-assembled, type-tested indoor power distribution equipment designed for three-phase AC 50/60Hz, 24kV power systems. It is suitable for single busbar and single busbar sectionalized systems, primarily used in power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, and urban construction systems for receiving and distributing electrical energy, as well as controlling, protecting, and monitoring circuits. This switchgear complies with international standards IEC 62271-200, as well as GB/T 3906, GB/T 11022, DL/T 404, and has passed comprehensive type tests conducted by the National High-Voltage Electrical Apparatus Quality Supervision and Testing Center.

 

Key Advantages
Compact 24kV Switchgear Design: The structural configuration of this product is similar to that of 12kV center-mounted switchgear. When used in 20kV systems, it does not require composite insulation or phase-to-phase isolation plates, resulting in superior insulation performance.
Fully Metal-Clad & Enclosed Safety: The cabinet is constructed from imported aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets, processed by high-precision CNC equipment, and assembled with blind rivet nuts and high-strength bolts, featuring a fully modular structure. The enclosure protection rating reaches IP4X when the doors are closed, effectively ensuring personnel safety and reliable equipment operation.
Complete "Five-Prevention" Interlocking: The switchgear is equipped with a comprehensive and effective five-prevention interlocking system to prevent misoperations, including preventing the moving of trolleys under load, preventing incorrect opening/closing of circuit breakers, preventing closing of the earthing switch when live, preventing power transmission when the earthing switch is in the closed position, and preventing accidental entry into live compartments. All switch operations can be performed with the high-voltage compartment door closed.
High Reliability & Long Mechanical Life: The withdrawable truck features excellent interchangeability, with smooth and labor-saving movement inside the cabinet. The withdrawable parts and earthing switch have a mechanical operation life of ≥3,000 cycles, while the circuit breaker boasts a mechanical life of ≥10,000 cycles, effectively ensuring long-term operational reliability.
Spacious Cable Compartment: The cable compartment offers ample space, with a cable hanging height meeting standard requirements, allowing connection of multiple cables and facilitating easy installation and maintenance.
Excellent Adaptability: The switchgear can be equipped with VS1 series, VD4 series, NV1-24 series vacuum circuit breakers, or SF6 circuit breakers, offering a wide range of configurations and strong interchangeability. Various solutions are available to meet different user requirements.
Intelligent Control Options: Optional configurations include 6-point or 9-point online temperature monitoring technology, remote-controlled electric operation of the earthing switch, motorized insertion/withdrawal of the circuit breaker truck, and internal fault arc protection, enabling intelligent control of the switchgear.
