Product Overview
The GCD series low voltage combination switchgear (hereinafter referred to as "Switchgear") is a factory-assembled, type-tested indoor power distribution equipment. It is suitable for three-phase AC 50-60Hz power systems with rated working voltage up to 690V, used for power generation, transmission, distribution, energy conversion, and control of power-consuming equipment. This product has been successfully applied in major industrial projects including BOE (Beijing Oriental Electronics Group), demonstrating its reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
The switchgear adopts an assembled modular structure. The cabinet frame uses the same construction for both fixed and withdrawable sections, allowing a hybrid design combining fixed cabinets and drawer-type cabinets within the same project to meet diverse power supply requirements. The frame is assembled using C-section columns and beams made of aluzinc-coated steel plates, processed by high-precision CNC equipment, featuring enhanced mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
Fixed & Withdrawable Hybrid Design - Maximum Flexibility
Since the frame and busbar systems are identical for both fixed and withdrawable sections, the switchgear can be designed as a hybrid system combining fixed cabinets and drawer-type cabinets. This unique feature allows users to select the most appropriate functional unit type for each circuit based on specific operational requirements, optimizing both performance and cost.
High-Performance Drawer Units - Smooth & Reliable
The drawer units are equipped with specially designed aluminum alloy guide rails, ensuring smooth and flexible insertion/extraction with excellent interchangeability-2. All drawer units feature misoperation protection. The drawer panel has clear markings for separation, connection, test, and extraction positions. The rated current of unit circuits is up to 400A with interchangeable same-function units-37.
Flexible Configuration - Modular Design
The frame adopts a modular structure (E=20mm/E=100mm) with C-section columns and beams made of aluzinc-coated steel, providing enhanced mechanical strength and corrosion resistance-6. The frame is equipped with Φ9.2mm mounting holes, making assembly flexible and convenient-37.
Intelligent Upgrade Option - PROFIBUS Communication
The GCD60-Z intelligent model is available with an open PROFIBUS fieldbus system, enabling remote control, remote adjustment, remote measurement, and remote signaling (SCADA) functions. It is compatible with domestic and international devices using the same protocol, allowing the master station to communicate with slave stations via the bus, achieving "four-remote" functionality-1.
Reliable Electrical Performance - High Short-Circuit Strength
Horizontal busbars are arranged in a flat configuration to enhance short-circuit withstand capability-37. The rated short-time withstand current (effective value, 1 sec) reaches up to 50kA, and the rated peak withstand current reaches up to 105kA, ensuring robust operation under fault conditions-2.
Separate Compartments - Enhanced Safety
Each functional compartment (busbar compartment, cable compartment, functional unit compartment) is isolated from each other, with clear physical separation to prevent fault propagation and ensure personnel safety-37.
